Thanks to this meeting, I had the opportunity to hear Sewall Wright lecture, and to sit near him at dinner at China First restaurant in Palo Alto. I naively asked Wright, “When you used ‘w’ to represent fitness coefficients, was ‘w’ for ‘Wright’?” “No,” Wright answered, it was for ‘worth’.”
