Find out why the popularity of Argentine Tang is growing all over the world!  Starting with the wonderful embrace of the dance and incorporating basic walking elements to navigate the line of dance you will find the simplicity of it all enlightening!  Christy will also introduce the Basic and explain how these 8 steps or positions of the dance are used as a structure for learning more advanced figures of the dance.  This workshop is a highly recommended for all newcomers to Argentine Tango and for those planning to take the Beginning 2, 3 and 4 workshops.

7:15-8:30pm – Beginning 2 – Improvisation of Molinetes and Ochos
Christy’s approach to teaching from an improvisational perspective is unique and very effective.  This workshop will add Molinetes and Ochos to the basic walking elements of the dance in an improvisational format allowing the dancers to create their own figures in the line of dance.  This workshop is great for beginners but also recommended for more advanced dancers who feel locked into dancing only set patterns and would like to dance more creatively.
